On Friday, a child in his twenties was killed by Houthi militia snipers in the isolation of Al-Jrouf, north of the Marais area.

The townspeople said that the Houthi militia’s snipers stationed south of Damt targeted the child, “Muhammad Faisal Al-Matar,” while he was near the house in which he and his family lived, and his family tried to rescue him, but he died instantly.
The residents added that the Houthi militia continues to target civilians in the northern regions of Maris and adjacent to the city of Damt on an ongoing basis, and these areas have witnessed many similar cases of sniping and bombing operations by the Houthi militia, which resulted in many civilian casualties, most of them women and children.
The Iranian-backed Houthi militia continues to double the balance of its violations against defenseless civilians by targeting them inside their homes, farms, roads and markets in the north and west of Al-Dhalea Governorate, with direct sniping and bombing operations, amidst silence applied by international organizations and bodies working in the field of human rights.
