The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council issued a statement condemning, in the strongest terms, the acts of the forces of terrorism and darkness and what their bloody suppression machine practiced against the peaceful activity in Shabwa governorate, and its accompanying arrests, road closures, using live bullets, shooting and wounding unarmed civilians.
Below is the statement:
Statement of Condemnation
The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council condemns, in the strongest terms, the practices of the forces of terrorism and darkness and what their bloody suppression machine has caused against the peaceful activity in Shabwa governorate, and its accompanying arrests, road closures, using live bullets, shooting and wounding unarmed civilians.
What the Islah militias are carrying out under the cover of legitimacy including terrorism, escalation and suppression of protests and events, and committing crimes and violations against civilians, indicates that these tools are continuing in their vile scheme to blow up all bridges leading to the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.
The General Secretariat, while it calls upon everyone to condemn these crimes that are outside the norms and laws, at the same time calls upon the leadership of the coalition to take clear positions regarding these practices that our people are facing.
We salute the steadfastness and bravery of the people of Shabwa who came out with a national will expressing their aspirations and their legitimate right to live on their homeland in freedom and dignity, and they affirmed with facts that Shabwa will not tweet outside the southern flock and that the people of the south, with their free and solid will, will win.
Eternity for the martyrs, healing for the wounded, and freedom for the prisoners
