On Tuesday, Mr. Ali Sheikh Al-Suri, Deputy Head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate, met with the Director-General of Zinjibar District, Engineer Mukhtar Al-Shadadi, in a fruitful meeting aimed at enhancing cooperation between the Transitional Council and the local authority in the district.
During the meeting, which was attended by Captain Ahmed Saleh Al-Ra'i, Director-General of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, and Mr. Saleh Al-Jawi, Director-General of the Duties Office, Al-Suri emphasized the importance of directing efforts towards improving conditions in the districts. He stressed that the Transitional Council places special importance on the service sector. He explained that the local leadership in the governorate is working to support the efforts of the local authorities in Zinjibar to improve public services and overcome the challenges hindering the progress of work.
Al-Suri called for the necessity of concerted efforts and working in a spirit of teamwork to enhance and activate state institutions, aiming to create a model that enables citizens to live in safety and stability with the availability of essential services. He also urged for coordinated efforts in the coming phase by the local authority and the Transitional Council, and to work at a high pace to serve the citizens.
For his part, Engineer Mukhtar Al-Shadadi expressed his happiness with the meeting with the Deputy President. He reviewed the difficulties facing the progress of work in the district and its needs for infrastructure projects and public services. Al-Shadadi thanked the efforts made by the leadership of the Transitional Council in the governorate, emphasizing the importance of addressing the needs of the citizens and working to alleviate their suffering, as it is a core task of the local authority.
