Al-Awael Private Schools concluded their 2024-2025 academic year with a distinguished honoring ceremony held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in the school courtyard in Ja'ar city, Khanfar District, Abyan Governorate.

The event was a joyful celebration of the students’ accomplishments and a tribute to the outstanding success and achievements of Al-Awael’s geniuses and creative minds, both locally, nationally, and across the Arab world in mental arithmetic competitions. It also served to honor the top students of the school following an academic year filled with dedication and scholarly excellence. The school's goals were achieved through a well-structured plan executed by a highly qualified and distinguished educational team, utilizing modern teaching methods. The students’ diligence and perseverance, with academic excellence as their highest aspiration, played a crucial role in this success.

The ceremony opened with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the Director of Al-Awael Schools, Mr. Hassan Al-Nakhbi, who warmly welcomed the attendees. In his speech, he highlighted the achievements made by the schools during the 2024-2025 academic year and extended his gratitude to everyone who contributed to this success, from students to the administrative and teaching staff, as well as the students' parents.

The event featured creative and musical performances presented by the boys and girls of Al-Awael Schools.

The Southern Transitional Council in Khanfar District, represented by the Council President Mr. Saleh Naji bin Ataf, honored Al-Awael Schools with a certificate of appreciation for their outstanding accomplishments, which brought pride to the district in particular and to the governorate in general.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the brilliant and creative students—the champions of the national and Arab mental arithmetic competitions—and the top achievers of Al-Awael Schools were honored.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of educational and academic figures, political and social dignitaries, students’ parents, and a notable turnout of women.
