Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, received on Wednesday in the city of Mukalla a number of leaders and dignitaries of Bani Marra tribe in Hadhramout Governorate.

 At the outset of the meeting, Major General Ben Brik thanked Bani Marra tribe for their presence and their good feelings towards Hadhramout and the southern homeland, conveying greetings of President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, for their efforts  towards the south.

 In the meeting, the Vice-President of the Transitional Council said: "We are currently living in a phase of transition from the revolution to the state, that state that takes into account the right of citizens with justice and equality, and for its sake we carried the project of the comprehensive southern state, not the one-class state, but the one that unites all the southerners who have a duty to participate in its construction.”

 Major General Ben Brik confirmed that the southern national dialogue, which was initiated by the National Assembly and continued its efforts by the national dialogue team, culminated in holding the consultative meeting of the southern components and the signing of the National Pact, in addition to conducting the structuring process, as affirmed the right of all southerners to be part of the homeland, and to participate positively in shaping the future of the coming state of the south.

 Major General Bin Brik stressed during his speech that Hadhramout is great with its people, history, culture and wealth, noting that holding the sixth session of the National Assembly in Hadhramout is an affirmation of the national value of Hadhramout for the south.

 For their part,  the personalities of Bani Marra tribe expressed their thanks to Major General Bin Brik for the good reception, as well as their appreciation for the leadership of the Transitional Council represented by President Commander Aidarous Al-Zubaidi for the great national efforts in order to achieve the aspirations of the people of the south, stressing their support for the Council and standing with the interest of the south and everything that would highlight Hadhramout as an effective force that reflects its value with its people and tribes, with its history, culture and wealth.
