The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Monday its periodic meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Fadel Mohammed Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General.

In the meeting, Al-Jaadi stressed the importance of the role of youth in the process of construction and development in all fields.

Al-Jaadi affirmed the progress towards achieving the goals and aspirations of the people of the south, and the keenness of the political leadership in this through its presence in the capital, Aden, and its meetings with all popular groups.

Al-Jaadi also stressed that the presence of the political leadership in the capital, Aden, silenced those who wagered that the political leadership would not have the decision to be present among its people.

The meeting reviewed

The meeting reviewed a number of reports on the activities of the General Secretariat departments, and on the political and economic scenes, and the continued deterioration in services, and the unjustified increase in prices of food and consumable materials.

The attendees presented an analytical explanation about a number of these problems and developed some proposals, solutions, and recommendations about those issues.

The meeting also reviewed and approved its previous minutes, as well as the weekly achievement reports of the Secretariat departments, and the most important activities to be implemented next week.
