The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met on Saturday, in the capital, Aden, with the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation in the parity government, Dr. Waed Badheeb.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Abdullah Badheeb, praising the efforts made by him, and the effectiveness and the moves made by his ministry, which aim to improve its performance and the pivotal contribution to improving services.
President Al-Zubaidi valued the international movements and meetings conducted by the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation since he assumed the leadership of the ministry, stressing the need to make more efforts and joint coordination with all international organizations to open their headquarters in the capital, Aden.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the local authorities and the security services in the capital, Aden, are ready to facilitate the work and movement of organizations and international missions, and to facilitate their work in the capital, Aden, in particular, and rest of the governorates of the South, noting that the security situation in the capital, Aden, is stable and safe for the work and movement of the organizations’ crews, and all international missions.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of organizing work in the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, and delivering humanitarian aid provided by all international organizations to all citizens in the capital, Aden, in particular, and the governorates of the South in general.
For his part, the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Abdullah Badheeb, informed President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi on the efforts made by the ministry, as well as the difficulties facing its work, praising all the efforts made by the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council headed by President Al-Zubaidi.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Badheeb praised the tangible security stability in the capital, Aden, which will contribute effectively to providing the opportunity for the work of organizations and international missions to lift the service situation in the capital and other governorates.
The meeting was attended by member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Council, Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, and Director of the Office of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, Kamal Hamshary, and Director of the Office of the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Radfan Mohammad Haitham.
