The Deputy Secretary of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, chaired an extended meeting of the Department of Studies and Researches.

In the meeting, Al-Jaadi stressed the importance of conducting studies and researches and evaluating performance on a regular and orderly basis.

Al-Jaadi pointed out that setting the pace for any institutional work based on scientific and academic foundations leads to progress and upgrading of institutional work and helps the decision maker to take sound and timely decisions.

The Deputy Secretary-General stressed the importance of the work of the proposed technical committee to evaluate the performance of all Transitional Council bodies, according to the tasks entrusted to it, stressing in the same context on the importance of facilitating their tasks.

For his part, the Head of the Studies and Researches Department, Dr. Mohammad Jaafar bin Al-Sheikh Abu Bakr, stressed the importance of coordination among the Council’s bodies to unify efforts and work in a unified and integrated manner, in accordance with the directives of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council.

Dr. Mohammad Jaafar stressed that the Department of Studies and Researches has developed an action plan aimed at developing performance in partnership with the relevant departments of the General Secretariat to achieve the strategic goals pursued by the Transitional Council in advancing the institutional work in line with the current and future stage.

The meeting concluded with a number of proposals and opinions from the attendees, which are corresponded in the same direction.
