The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Monday, held its periodic meeting headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.
The meeting reviewed the political scene report submitted by the Political Department, which dealt with the most important political developments in the southern arena, in addition to the most prominent regional and international events related to the south and its cause during the past two weeks.
The meeting also discussed a report on the performance of the Department of Social Affairs in the General Secretariat during the first half of the year 2021, which included the most prominent activities and events of the department and its most important achievements during the mentioned period.
The meeting reviewed a report on the level of job discipline at the General Secretariat during the month of August 2021, which was submitted by the Financial and Administrative Department, and dealt with performance details of the Secretariat's staff in the month of August.
The meeting discussed the latest political, economic, security and service developments on the southern arena, and the related issues and topics, with the most important influencing obstacles that obstruct the work of the Council's bodies in the governorates, and presented proposals and appropriate solutions to them.
The meeting called upon the citizens of the South to actively participate in the memorial event for the late Mr. Amin Saleh Mohammad, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, which will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, in the capital, Aden.
The meeting reviewed the most prominent organizational issues related to the work of the General Secretariat departments and the local authorities in the governorates. It also listened to the weekly activity report of each department in the General Secretariat, and reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
