The Scientific Committee (Document Preparation Committee) of the Conference of Southern Journalists and Media Professionals held its periodic meeting, on Sunday, in the capital, Aden, in the presence of Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Deputy Chairman of the National Commission for Southern Media Professionals, Chaired by Dr. Basem Mansour Al-Hushbi, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, member of the National Commission.

 At the outset of the meeting, Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei appreciated the efforts of the scientific committee, the "Document Preparation Committee", in laying the foundations for completing the draft documents of the Southern Journalists and Media Professionals Conference, and their keenness to present an integrated media image that stands out in the first conference, which includes under one roof all media professionals who believe in restoring the state of the South without exception, wishing them success in their tasks .

 For his part, Dr. Basem Mansour Al-Hushbi, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, welcomed Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, providing a brief summary of the committee’s work since its announcement, which mainly contributes to building the pillars of the first conference through the draft documents that will be presented to the conference that will be held in the near future with distinguished attendance and participation from the county and abroad .

The meeting reviewed the draft documents of the first conference for media professionals, and opinions were presented that contribute to enriching the draft documents in a scientific way that meets the aspirations of media professionals in an entity that defends their rights and restores the media institutions that were struck and destroyed by the occupation authorities of Sana'a and its remnants.. and strengthens the southern national identity and produces media content that aims to restore the southern state.

The meeting also discussed a number of proposals that enhance the success of the Conference of Journalists and Media Professionals and ways of practical programs that will accompany it, as visions that enhance the upcoming work .
