The Hadhramout Tribes Alliance took a number of important decisions in its meeting held in Seiyun, which are:

Today, Saturday, January 7, 2023, the Presidium of the Hadhramout Tribes Alliance met in the capital of Hadhramout Valley, the city of Seiyun, including leaders, positions, sheikhs, notables, and personalities, in a difficult circumstance in which Hadhramout, and the valley and the desert in particular, face threats to security and stability.

 In view of this, The Presidium of the Hadhramout Tribes Alliance  devoted its meeting to discussing the military and security situation, and took the following decisions:

 1) The alliance approved opening the door for recruitment on the military and security side for ten thousand recruits from among the people of Hadhramout to support security and stability in the valley and desert of Hadhramout, provided that the state undertakes to formally supervise them, and the alliance will arrange this tribally on the ground in case otherwise.

 2) The alliance tribes confirm their  support for Brigadier General Amer Bin Hatian Al-Nahdi, Staff Officer in The First Military District, and the formation of a brigade from the people of Hadhramout quickly under his leadership so that he can carry out his tasks to the fullest.  

 3) The alliance tribes confirm their support for Brigadier General Abdullah bin Hubaish Al-Say’ari, Director General of Security and Police in Hadhramout Valley and Desert, and the speedy implementation of the presidential directives to recruit 3,000 recruits for the security of the valley and the desert so that he can carry out his security tasks.

 4) Refusing the presence, recruitment or imposition of any forces from outside Hadhramout, regardless of the pretexts for their presence.

 5) Emphasizing the implementation of the decisions of the extraordinary meeting of the alliance last December 19 and all previous decisions.

 6) Relieving the Secretary-General of the Alliance of the Office of the Coast and the Plateau, Omar Bashkar, from his duties.

 The alliance of the Hadhramout Tribes will always remain the safety valve of Hadhramout, the dignity of its people and their sovereignty over their land.
