The head of the Executive Body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Al-Mahra Governorate, Mujahid bin Afrar, received today in his office at the local leadership headquarters the director of the coordination and communication office for the people of the Socotra Archipelago in Al-Mahra Governorate, Ayman Hawash.

Bin Afrar stressed the social and historical ties of the people of Al-Mahra and Socotra governorates, which were embodied through cooperation between the people of Al-Mahra and Socotra at all levels, appreciating the interest of the political leadership of the people of the South, represented by President Commander Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, in the cultural specificities and social ties in the process of building the desired federal state of the South.  
This has been confirmed by the Council’s literature since its founding, the most recent of which is the Southern National Pact.

Bin Afrar also indicated that the governorate transitional executive was keen to include in its plan for the new year purposeful activities and programs along this path.
