On Tuesday, the Community Committee, which assists the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium, held its periodic meeting for the second half of February in the capital, Aden. The meeting was chaired by Dean Pilot Nasser Al-Saadi, the head of the committee.

During the meeting, several social issues that have recently emerged were discussed, along with the implementation of effective measures to mitigate their escalation.

The committee also reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting, as well as performance reports from the departments of the General Secretariat affiliated with the committee's membership. It endorsed a number of proposals and recommendations, which were subsequently presented to the  Transitional Council's Presidium.
