NSMA Holds Special Meeting to Keep up with Economic and Service Developments

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held a special meeting on Monday, headed by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of NSMA and official spokesman of the STC, dedicated to discussing the latest economic and service developments.



The meeting reviewed the recent updates in light of the efforts of the STC and government authorities to address the deteriorating economic and service conditions and to implement the directives of the Presidium of the STC on addressing the decline in services.



The Authority commended the tireless efforts and follow-up of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi with the relevant government authorities to prepare a matrix of urgent solutions to halt the economic and service decline and to work diligently to implement them, particularly those related to electricity, currency exchange rates, salaries, the laid-off of the South, Aden refinery, and the completion of the relocation of all institutions and international organizations to the capital, Aden.



Similarly, NSMA called on the local public to keep abreast of developments and support these efforts to expedite the implementation of the matrix of urgent solutions to halt the economic and service decline and to confront all the economic and field measures of the Houthi group that have caused great harm to the economic situation in the governorates of the South over the past years.



The meeting stressed the importance of adhering to the general guidelines and orientations for the political and media discourse of the STC in light of the exceptional circumstances facing the South and the challenges of the stage politically, economically, and security-wise.



The meeting also discussed a range of topics and issues related to media affairs and took a number of appropriate measures and decisions in this regard.
