The Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Authority (FAEA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) has been closely monitoring the Houthi militia's escalating campaign of arbitrary arrests targeting UN staff, international organization personnel, and civil society members in areas under their control.

The FAEA strongly condemns the ongoing violations perpetrated by the Houthi militia, their persistent approach of incitement, restrictions on civil society, and militarizing relief and humanitarian aid to impose their sectarian and racial project, which constitute a flagrant violation of human rights and international laws, necessitating a firm stance by the international community and regional and international organizations against these violations, oppressive practices, and terrorist acts.

The FAEA reiterates its call for all international organizations and UN bodies to relocate their offices to the capital, Aden, affirming the STC's unwavering commitment to providing an appropriate and conducive environment that enhances the ability to deliver humanitarian aid and development assistance and essential support to all citizens, ensuring seamless access to various regions.
