Today, Monday, the Executive Body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate held its periodic meeting for the month of July, headed by Ali Sheikh Al-Suri, Vice Head of the body.

In its meeting, the Executive Body demanded the need to quickly arrest the rest of the perpetrators in the case of the kidnapped Lieutenant Colonel Ali Abdullah Ashal Al-Jaadani, stressing the importance of revealing the fate of the kidnapped Ashal and punishing those responsible for this.

The Body praised the efforts of the security services in Aden and Abyan governorates, which resulted in the arrest of a number of defendants, stressing the pivotal role they play in establishing security and tranquility for the citizen.

During the meeting, the Body also warned against attempts to exploit Ali Ashal’s case politically, considering it an issue that concerns every honorable patriotic southerner, and called for responsibility and not to politicize the situation.

At the meeting, the previous minutes were approved, and the latest political developments at the level of the south and the governorate in particular were reviewed, which reflects the continuity of work and follow-up of all issues related to the life of citizens in the governorate, in a spirit of dedication and commitment that contributes to improving the level of work of the Executive Body.
