Alinma Bank for Islamic Microfinance signed a partnership agreement with Al-Ghanem Trade and Investment Corporation, granting the bank exclusive sponsorship for the first renewable energy exhibition, which will be held in Aden during the period from (4-7 August 2024), for the first time in the Republic of Yemen.
Mr. Muhammad Bagil, CEO of Alinma Islamic Microfinance Bank, said that the bank’s sponsorship of the first renewable energy exhibition in Aden comes in appreciation of the importance of the capital, Aden, hosting the first exhibition of this qualitative importance that it represents and our need today for clean, renewable energy to mitigate the damage resulting from unclean energy. Emphasizing the need to search for all available opportunities to find healthy alternatives to clean green energy and mitigate the risks of heat emission and damage resulting from current electrical energy.
Bagil explained that the bank’s sponsorship of the exhibition also comes as a practical translation of the bank’s orientations towards community service and support of all global plans and projects aimed at creating renewable green energy, and the bank’s leadership is also keen to support all international trends and conferences towards green energy, the latest of which is the COP28 Conference of the Parties of the United Nations in Dubai.
Bagil stressed the keenness of the leadership of the Alinma Islamic Microfinance Bank to encourage global interest in confronting climate change, alleviating the increasing problems of global warming, and researching and studying all available opportunities to find alternative energy.
The agreement was signed by Moaz Ghanem, Executive Director of the Foundation, and on behalf of the Alghanim Foundation, Muhammad Bagil, CEO of the bank.
