CAC Bank Launches Workshop in Partnership with Arab Academy for Administrative and Banking Sciences

 The Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank “CAC Bank” in Aden launched a workshop for the Committee for Modernizing and Preparing the Strategic Plan entitled: “Strategic Planning Using the Balanced Scorecard,” which will be held during the period from 28 to 30 of this month of July, in which a.  Dr. Murad Muhammad Al-Nashmi, expert in strategic institutional development at the Arab Academy for Administrative and Banking Sciences.


 At the opening of the workshop, the Business Development Sector Assistant at CAC Bank, Muhammad Abu Hatem, explained that the changes in the internal and external surrounding environment necessitated the existence of a strategic plan for the bank, to enhance the results that must be achieved, according to the assets it possesses and the expertise it has, and with the presence of a large number of competitors, in addition to the changing trend of the banking industry worldwide, is why we sought help from the brothers in the Arab Academy for Administrative and Banking Sciences, who have full experience in the planning process, who in turn formed a team to work on all the dimensions that the bank works on. 


 Abu Hatem indicated that the bank’s strategic plan will be for the next five years, extending from the year 2025 and ending in 2030. Work will continue during the “Balanced Scorecard” project for a period of 7 months, and the largest possible number of administrative levels, whether executive, middle or operational, will participate in the work to ensure two things: the first is that everyone is convinced of the outcomes of the strategic plan and the necessity of implementing it due to their participation in its preparation, and the second thing is to build the second row of leaders within the bank.” 


 The Assistant Executive Vice Chairman of the Agriculture and Fisheries Sector at CAC Bank, Abdel Mohsen Abdel Rab, also expressed the importance of the strategic plan project, as it will be in a different context this year, as it is the first of its kind in the capital, Aden, and in partnership with an ancient institution, the Arab Academy for Administrative and Banking Sciences which has always been a source of support for this bank in many projects. 


 He stressed that the bank was keen to involve most of the employees of the departments and branches to gain experience and qualify the second rank within the bank, and that this project is an opportunity for everyone to achieve qualitative progress, because planning is the basic function on which all other administrative functions are based.
