The Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank) in Aden launched this Sunday evening a workshop on strategic planning using the balanced scorecard for the support committees to prepare the strategic plan formed by some of the bank’s departments and branches in remote governorates. The workshop will be held during the period from 11 to 13 of this month of August in partnership with the Arab Academy for Administrative and Banking Sciences.
At the opening of the workshop, the Business Development Sector Assistant at CAC Bank, Mohamed Abu Hatem, explained that one of the goals of every commercial facility is to achieve profitability in line with its capabilities, capabilities and assets, which necessitated CAC Bank to prepare a strategic plan to maximize profitability by developing a plan according to a new methodology, which involves involving all executive and operational administrative levels in the strategic planning process, the process of collecting data and information for analyzing the internal and external environment is through sources working in the field to ensure obtaining a highly effective, modern and implementable plan, indicating that the departments and branches carry is of great importance to provide senior leadership with the data extracted to study and analyze the market, its competitors, and what can be done during the specified period, which is in the interest of ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the outputs and results.
Abu Hatem indicated that the bank’s strategic plan will be for the next five years, and work will continue during the project with the “Balanced Scorecard” for a period of 7 months, and the largest possible number of administrative levels will participate in the work, whether executive, middle, or operational, to ensure that everyone is convinced of the plan’s outcomes and the necessity of implementing them.
