The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Sunday, headed by Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafe'y, deputy head of the NSMA.

The authority reviewed the latest developments in the South, commending the positive engagement of the media regarding the visit of President Aidaruos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, to New York, which included his participation in the Future Summit, his historic speech in the UN Security Council, and his meetings with various Arab and international leaders, as well as with the Southern community in the USA.

NSMA studied reports submitted by the Media Training and Qualification Sector, as well as the media committees of both the National Assembly and the Council of Advisors. Based on the findings, the authority has taken several decisions and formed special committees tasked with addressing the issues raised in these reports
