The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, in its meeting held on Tuesday morning, headed by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting in charge of the President of the Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, assigned a joint security and military committee to go to Ras Al-Ara area in Lahj Governorate to verify any developments in the coastal strip extending from Salah Al-Din area To Bab Al-Mandeb and submit a detailed report to the presidium to take the measures in its regard.
At the meeting, which was attended by a number of council ministers in the parity government, the presidium called on the head of the parity government to expedite the disbursement of annual bonuses and settlements for state employees suspended in the Central Bank after completing their procedures by the relevant ministries.
In its meeting, the presidium instructed the Minister of State, the Governor of the Capital, and local authorities throughout the southern governorates to direct the offices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to form field teams to control prices, strengthen control over markets and commercial activities, and control and report violations.
In a separate context, the presidium praised in its meeting the valor of the heroes of our southern armed forces in confronting the escalation carried out by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on the fronts of Al-Dhale, Yafa', Karsh, and Al-Musaimir in Lahj governorate, and Mukairas in Abyan governorate, stressing the need for the parity government to assume its responsibilities by providing support and logistical support to the forces stationed on the fronts to enhance their combat capabilities in the face of Houthi terrorism.
In this context, the presidium also directed the leadership of the ground forces to raise the level of readiness and combat readiness on various fronts to deal with any provocations that may be carried out by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia .
In its meeting, the presidium stood before a number of security developments and took the necessary measures in their regard.
