President Al-Zubaidi holds an extensive meeting with the leaders and cadres of the General Secretariat of the Transitional Council Presidium

On Sunday evening, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, held an extensive meeting with the leaders and members of the General Secretariat of the Presidium, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in the capital, Aden.
 At the outset of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his happiness at meeting the members and cadres of the General Secretariat, giving a brief presentation of the results of his foreign tour, and the meetings he held with the ambassadors of the five permanent members of the Security Council, and the sponsoring countries of the political process, in addition to the latest developments regarding the comprehensive political process, and international efforts to end war and bring peace.
 President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to redouble efforts and expend energies in order to achieve distinguished political action, especially since the Southern Transitional Council has become a force on the ground that cannot be ignored.
 In the context of his speech, the President also touched on the issue of structuring the council, indicating that the aim of structuring is to raise the effectiveness of the Council's work, develop it through renewal, and raise the efficiency of the staff, to face any upcoming challenges that may face the South and its just cause in all fields.
 The President indicated that there are new southern components that will be absorbed into the structure, after their previous involvement in the Southern National Dialogue, reaffirming that the Southern Transitional Council is not a political party, but rather an entity inclusive of all southerners, and will absorb the southerners of their various orientations.
 After that, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a number of observations made by a number of department heads and secretariat cadres about the Council's work during the past period, and possible proposals to develop the Council's work, in addition to a number of inquiries regarding developments related to the issue of the people of the South, and responses to them.
 Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General, opened the meeting with a speech in which he welcomed the presence of President Al-Zubaidi to the headquarters of the General Secretariat, and his keenness to meet with the leaders and cadres of the General Secretariat and listening to them.
