The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, chaired on Saturday, the weekly periodic meeting of the military and security leaders.

The meeting began with a minute of mourning and reciting Al-Fatihah for the soul of the martyr leader Haidara Al-Jadani, and for the souls of the faithful heroes who were martyred in the cowardly terrorist operation on Friday afternoon in the city of Zinjibar.

President Al-Zubaidi expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and their families, stressing that no matter how numerous are the crimes of terrorism and its financing channels, and how its political coverage is varied, these would not prevent the elimination of its organizations and elements by the hands of the heroes of the Southern Armed Forces from all the southern land, and that the will of the people of the South, with their armed forces at the forefront, is stronger and more durable than terrorism, with its organizations, and the parties that sponsor and control it in their war against the South.

The President got briefed on the urgent security measures taken to arrest the terrorist perpetrators of Zinjibar massacre, in which seven of the best heroes of the Southern Armed Forces were martyred, and 25 others were wounded, including civilians, as well as arresting the terrorist elements that assassinated the leader Al-Jadani and bringing them to justice to receive their deterrent punishment.

The meeting stressed the importance of continuing the security campaign to pursue and track terrorist elements to their hideouts and cells, and to apprehend outlaws in accordance with the security plan approved for this purpose.

The meeting also touched on the report of the Economic Committee and what was accomplished in accordance with the decisions of the previous meeting, as well as the report of the field committees regarding the disbursement of the incentive decided by the leadership of the Transitional Council to all members of the Southern Armed Forces, according to the approved exchange mechanism.
