Major General Bin Brik briefs National Assembly's administrative body on latest developments in the South

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, held a meeting on Thursday, with members of the Assembly's administrative body, in the presence of his two deputies, lawyer Niran Souki, member of the Presidency, and Dr. Anis Luqman.
At the meeting, Major General Bin Brik briefed the members of the administrative body on the latest developments in the capital, Aden in particular, and the South in general.
Major General Bin Brik reviewed the contents of the speech addressed by the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, which was delivered on Wednesday, and declared a state of emergency and general mobilization, and called on the southern military units to prepare to confront any attack and conspiracy of the Houthi militia.
Major General Bin Brik delivered the necessary directives regarding the members of the administrative body, deputy heads of committees and members of the National Assembly in the governorates, on how to deal with what was stated in President Al-Zubaidi's speech, and their standing by the local leaderships of the Southern Transitional Council in the governorates and districts, and with the heads of community committees.
The Chairman of the National Assembly stressed that they should be in a state of full alert and monitor and follow up the situation in the capital, Aden, in particular, and the governorates of South in general, stressing that the administrative body should be in a state of permanent meeting and upgrading the work of the operations room to follow up on the situation constantly.
In confirmation of what was stated in the speech of Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, the Chairman of the Assembly, the administrative body declared its full support for what was stated in the speech of the President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and expressed its readiness to act according to the powers granted to it in the Fourth session of the National Assembly.
In its meeting, the administrative body also affirmed its full support for the armed forces and the southern resistance in defending the homeland against the invading militias and addressing all those who tamper with and prejudice the internal security of the South, stressing the necessity of the unity of the southern ranks to face all these challenges, to achieve the security and stability of the citizens, and provide the public services necessary for their life.
In its meeting, the administrative body called for the necessity of circumventing the southern issue and sticking to its political bearer (the Southern Transitional Council), and not to be drawn into rumors circulated on social media, which aim to destabilize security and stability and sow discord among the southerners, and try to expose the intruders who are trying to use the current conditions and demonstrations, which condemn the situation and call for decent life, to be diverted from its course.
