The Administrative Body of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, held a meeting on Sunday, headed by Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, the Chairman of the National Assembly, and in the presence of his two vice-Chairmen, lawyer Niran Sooki, member of the Presidency of the Council, and Dr. Anis Luqman, upon the directives of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, that stipulated the bodies of the Transitional Council to remain in permanent session.

The meeting discussed the latest developments on the southern arena, and the repeated attacks on its borders by the Houthi militia.

At the meeting, Major General Bin Brik said: "We are exposed to a fierce war from all sides, the aim of which is to break the will of the southerners, and not to let them achieve their aspirations to restore their state," stressing the need to align the rows and unify our internal front to confront these attacks.

Major General Ahmed Saeed added, "The Southern Transitional Council is with the peaceful demonstrations that are condemning the current situation, and calling for improving living and service conditions, and with conveying their voices to the outside world, under the condition that these demonstrations are not exploited and diverted with the aim of destabilizing security and stability."

The meeting also stressed the need to activate an operations room, and work in a team spirit to facts finding from their sources.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the administrative body of the National Assembly recommended addressing some of the negative phenomena that have emerged recently, and how to solve them, and take the necessary measures in this regard.
