Under the auspices of the Abyan Transitional Council, the public administration in the governorate holds the first consultative meeting for the unions of southern teachers and educators in the districts of Khanfar and Zanzibar

 In the presence of the interim Vice President of Abyan, Mr. Khaled Al-Abed and Mr. Ayman Al-Wael, Head of the Department of Branch Affairs of the General Federation of South Trade Unions, Mr. Abdullah Barhout, Head of the Organizational Department in the governorate, Mr. Saleh Makish Musabin, Secretary-General of the Federation of Southern Workers’ Union, Abyan branch, Mr. Fikri Muqaffa, Deputy Head of Public Administration in the governorate, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Amoud is a member  The National Assembly and Professor Ahmed Al-Raz, a member of the governorate.
  Mr. Omar Al-Harash, Head of the Public Administration of the Transitional Council of Abyan Governorate, chaired the first consultative meeting of the Southern Teachers and Educators Syndicate in the districts of Khanfar and Zanzibar.
  At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Harash welcomed the attending brothers, praising the role of the Southern Teachers Syndicate, Abyan Branch, in union work.
 Al-Harash stressed the continuation of southern union work despite the challenges and economic difficulties that would have a role in the supervisory work in the future.
 In the meeting, the mass administration of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan governorate stood before the conditions of the Southern Teachers and Educators Syndicate in the districts of Khanfar and Zanzibar.
 The meeting pointed to the process of destroying the educational role by the Yemeni occupation regime, the effects of which still remain until now, and the meeting stressed that the Southern Teachers and Educators Syndicate will play its role in lifting the miserable situation of education, which is one of its core tasks.
 The meeting stressed the continuation of union work to confront the challenges facing teachers and find solutions to them with the concerned authorities in a way that facilitates the solution of all outstanding issues of teachers and educators.
 Al-Harash expressed his thanks to Professor Khaled Al-Abed, Vice President of the Provincial Transitional Council, and Mr. Abdullah Barhout, and all those present at this consultative meeting of the two educational unions in the southern districts of Khanfar and Zanzibar.
