The people of Sheikh Abdullah coastal area in Zinjibar district, Abyan governorate, held an extraordinary meeting by rejecting the decisions sought by the local authority in the district to establish a camp for the displaced from the people of the Yemeni Arab Republic in the area, with the support of some international organizations, and it was identified in the lands belonging to the area, especially in the football stadium.

 The people of the area affirmed their categorical rejection of the measures that the local authority in the district is trying to take, because this will disturb the social fabric, public tranquility and demographic change for the residents of the area.

 Demanding the local authority in the governorate and the Southern Transitional Council in the governorate to issue orders to the local authority in the district to immediately stop the establishment of this camp in the same.

 Where it was agreed by the people of the region to form a community committee consisting of seven members representing the people of the region to consult in all fields.
