Today, Sunday, Commander-in-Chief Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, head of the Southern Transitional Council, welcomed the accession of Parliamentary Representative, Fouad Obeid Waked, Head of the Southern Bloc in the House of Representatives, to the Southern Transitional Council.
President Al-Zubaidi indicated, during a phone call with Al-Muhandis, that the inclusion of a political figure like him would represent an important addition to the council, and would motivate the hesitant to announce similar steps.
President Al-Zubaidi renewed his call for the people of Hadhramaut to unite and close ranks so that they can extract their rights, stressing that the Transitional Council stands with them and supports their demands.
Parliament member, Fouad Waked, had announced his official joining the Southern Transitional Council, during his visit to the headquarters of the Executive Authority of the Hadhramaut Transitional Authority, and his meeting with its President, Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Muhammadi, and a number of members of the National Assembly and the Executive Authority.
Waked expressed his complete conviction in the ability of the Transitional Council to represent the people of the south and move them towards liberation and independence, noting that based on this conviction, he submitted an application to join the council, promising that other southern political leaders would join the council during the next stage.
