The Department of Women and Children in the Abyan Transitional Council held, this morning, in the capital, Zanjabar, a consultative meeting to evaluate the work of the departments in the directorates, in the presence of Mr.

 In his speech during the annual evaluation meeting of the Women's Administration, which is held under the auspices of the Southern Transitional Council, Professor Khaled Al-Abd praised the role of women in the governorate in various fields and their effective political participation today.

 

 Pointing to the importance of the female component in all leadership positions, and the need for it to bear responsibility for the renaissance of society, and the role through which it enables it to make a qualitative shift, and community awareness in the family environment to immunize young people from extremism and drugs, which the enemy is trying to cultivate among our youth to create a corrupt, perverted generation  Unable to do the simplest things of practical life.

 He called on the Department of Women and Children to exert more efforts in order to make the transitional council succeed, develop the spirit of social and feminist relations, and strengthen the values ​​of the southern social fabric, to move forward towards restoring the state that will grant women all their political, economic and social rights.

 The evaluation meeting was opened by the Director of the Women and Children Department in the Abyan Transition, Mrs. Wijdan Mask, with a welcoming speech, in which the present sisters thanked them for their presence, which represents a positive step in evaluating the work of the activities of the women and children departments in the directorates, as well as studying the needs of the departments and reviewing the most prominent difficulties and obstacles facing the functioning of the directorates.  the work .

 She stressed that this consultative meeting aims to evaluate the work of the departments during the year 2021 and draw up a work mechanism for the year 2022.

 Mask added that we are looking forward, during the coming period, to enhancing the role of women in the governorate through the implementation of many different community activities aimed at enhancing southern affiliation and identity and coexistence among members of the southern community.

 Mask stressed the importance of coordination, communication and concerted efforts, and moving forward towards the organized institutional work undertaken by the Women's Department.

 The meeting stopped in front of the departments' activity, and discussed ways to activate programs and plans in addition to aspects related to management, and discussed a number of difficulties related to the progress of work, and put forward proposals to address them.

 The meeting was attended by the Director of Social Affairs of the Transitional Abyan Ms. Jihan Haidara, and the Director of the Legal Department, Lawyer Ibtihal Nasser Taher.
