Two days after the change of governor, the Yemeni Giants Brigades, today, Monday, sent huge military reinforcements to Shabwa Governorate.

 The media center of these brigades announced that "military forces from the Giants Brigades launched from the western coast front to the eastern coast in Shabwa Governorate," noting that "this move, led by Brigadier General Abu Zara'a al-Muharrami, will contribute to the liberation of the districts that fell into the hands of the Houthi militia in Shabwa governorate."

 Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi had dismissed the governor of Shabwa, Muhammad Salih bin Udayo, and appointed Awad Muhammad Abdullah al-Awlaki, as his successor
