President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, received this evening, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Sultan Iskandar bin Hamoud bin Muhammad Al Harhara, and a number of young notables and dignitaries.
During the meeting, the leader spoke again of his condolences to Yafa and the whole south on the death of Sultan Fadl bin Muhammad Aidarous Al-Afifi, praising the roles of the sons of Yafa in the various junctures that the south went through, stressing that Yafa was and will remain the depth of the south and the thorn in the balance in the struggles of our people in the past and present.
In the meeting, the leader reviewed the successes achieved by the Southern Transitional Council politically, pointing to the unprecedented successes achieved for our people and our cause that made our people and their just cause at the forefront of the concerns of our brothers and friends.
The Leader valued the results of his meetings with the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which bore fruit and will bear many successes in the path of unifying efforts to confront the Houthi militia and liberate the three Baihan districts from the hordes of invaders.
In his meeting with young dignitaries, the leader stressed that the coming south will be nothing but a new federal south that achieves justice and balance in the political, economic and social interests of all our people.
For their part, the dignitaries of Yafa expressed their happiness to meet President Al-Zubaidi and sit with him, reiterating their position in support of the Southern Transitional Council and the tireless efforts of the leadership of the Council to achieve victory for the will of our people and their continuous struggles towards restoring and building its free, independent, federal state with full sovereignty.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Al Kathiri, member of the Presidency and the official spokesman for the Council, lawyer Yahya Ghaleb, member of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, and Anis Al-Sharafi, Head of Political Affairs and Planning Department in the General Department of Foreign Affairs.
