In coordination between the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council and the local authority and with the participation of the southern resistance and security services in the Al-Mahfad district in Abyan, the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Mr. Ali Saleh Al-Masoudi, and the commander of the Southern Resistance in the district, Sheikh Saeed Muhammad Al-Kazmi, and with the director of the Economic Department of the Transitional Council, Industry and Trade, Mr. Mahdi  Awad Al-Habroush, and Lieutenant-Colonel Saleh Ali Farag, Director of Al-Mahfad Security, this morning, Saturday morning, went to the shops to control and monitor prices in the Directorate.

 The Secretary-General of the Local Council, the Commander of the Southern Resistance, the Director of the Economic Department of the Transitional Council, Industry and Trade, and the Director of Al-Mahfad Security visited the field to monitor the prices of foodstuffs and consumer goods in the shops, and the Transport Syndicate in the Directorate.

 The leaders of the southern resistance and the local authority in the directorate stressed the obligation of everyone to the new prices in line with the recovery of the local currency and the drop in prices in the various neighboring districts and governorates of the south.

 The leaders of the Southern Resistance and the local authority called on all citizens to report any case of violation in the price adjustments of food and consumer items by the directorate's merchants, stressing everyone not to manipulate prices and complacency in the citizen's living interests, and whoever violates this will take legal measures against those who manipulate the rights of the sons of the directorate.  .

 The campaign to go to the field received great popular satisfaction from the citizens, hoping to go down periodically and continuously to alleviate the suffering of the citizens and to observe and monitor prices in the Directorate.

 The commander of the Southern Resistance Operations in the Directorate,  Anwar Atiq Hanash,  Nasser Ali Badr, Director of Criminal Investigation,  Ali Ahmed Al-Rabei, a member of the local leadership of the provincial transition, Mr. Saleh Nasser Al-Haddad, Director of the Organizational Department of the Directorate’s Transition, and Dr.  Nasser Saeed Lekhbeh, Director of the Human Rights Department, Mr. Muammar Ahmed Mihdhar, Director of the Youth and Students Department in the directorate’s transition, and members of the local council, Hanash Ali Al-Suraimi, Mr. Ali Abdullah Hanaf, Mr. Mahdi Hussein Atallah, Secretary of the Local Council, and Mr. Muhammad Shamlaq, Media Director  Transitional Directorate.
