Shabwa governorate, and with it all the southern governorates of Yemen, left the quagmire of darkness for a new era called development and stability, thanks to the great victories achieved by the giants’ brigades and their thwarting of the subversive plans of the Houthi and Brotherhood alliance
Within a short period, the Giants Brigades managed, through a military operation called (Cyclone of the South), to restore the western districts of Shabwa governorate, secure the entire governorate, and penetrate into the border districts of Al-Bayda and Ma'rib governorates, after defeating the Houthi militias and inflicting heavy losses on them in lives and military equipment.
The victories of the Giants Brigades in Shabwa governorate represented a fateful turning point in the path of aborting the extremist projects and the reactionary ideas of the Houthis and the Brotherhood and removing the burden of these projects that were threatening the southern governorates and trying to plunge the people of these governorates into wars and absurd conflicts that prevented the achievement of any economic, developmental and societal developments
According to observers of Yemeni affairs, the battle to secure the southern governorate of Shabwa, which for years has been a den for extremist groups, will quickly bring back to the fore the efforts to achieve security and prosperity for the southern citizen, a task that the Transitional Council has undertaken and promised to achieve in all southern governorates.
The observers said that the accelerating events and the new transformations proved beyond any doubt that the people of the southern governorates yearn for deliverance from all extremist groups and projects of destruction. That is why they formed an impenetrable dam to protect their governorates from the threat of Houthi militia overreach, and here they are with their multiple forces making great victories in Shabwa as they previously made in Aden and Lahj and others.
They stressed that the field breakthroughs achieved by the Houthi militia during the last period in Shabwa governorate and on other fronts do not indicate its military superiority, after it failed to hold out for a few days in front of the giant brigades. On the other hand.
The military transformations accomplished by the Giants Brigades and their progress towards the governorates of Ma’rib and Al-Bayda indicate that the complete liberation of Yemen from the Houthi militia is not a difficult task, but depends on the sincerity of the intentions of the other parties that deliberately formed armed militias that owe allegiance to certain groups, not to the homeland and its interests.
Political analysts believe that the success of the process of completing the liberation of the remaining governorates of Yemen from the Houthi militia is linked to the implementation of extensive reforms in the structure of the Defense Ministry forces, including purifying them of reactionary and corrupt groups and leaders and enabling the national military forces and leaders to manage the battle alongside the southern forces.
They stressed that if the national parties and leaders manage the political and military situation, they will succeed in reaching points of understanding with the national forces in the south represented by the Southern Transitional Council in the interest of achieving stability and peace in Yemen.
