Today, Monday, the Head of the General Department of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Al-Ghaithi, made a video call with Muhammad Al-Arian, responsible for the Yemen file at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, during which he discussed the latest political, economic and military developments in the south and Yemen, stressing the need for the government to perform its duties in providing services and carrying out real reforms whose impact the citizen seeks. in the economic file.
During the meeting, which was attended by Anis Al-Sharafi, Head of the Political Affairs and Planning Department, and Nabil Bin Laasm, Head of the Communication and Coordination Department in the General Department of Foreign Affairs, Al-Ghaithi reviewed the historical and fraternal relations and ties between our people and brothers in the Arab Republic of Egypt. He also stressed Egypt's pivotal role in the files of security and stability in the region.
Al-Ghaithi renewed the support of the Southern Transitional Council of the coalition countries led by the Kingdom, and the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen in all efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in our country, stressing the need to take into account the facts of history and the reality on the ground and to accommodate issues and actors to bring peace and stability in the south and Yemen.
For his part, Brother Mohamed El-Erian stressed the importance of intensifying and concerted efforts to address the economic situation, provide services, and support the Arab Republic of Egypt for efforts to bring peace and achieve stability in the region.
