Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, Chairman of the Health and Environment Committee in the National Assembly, met today, Monday, in his office at the Society’s headquarters, with Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mehrabi, President of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Al-Dhalea Governorate.
In the meeting, many topics related to the health and medical aspect were reviewed, and how to activate the role of drug control and the obligation to show the doctor's paper (Rochet) when dispensing treatment to patients, as well as discussing how to announce the Southern Pharmacists Syndicate to include all the governorates of the south.
The meeting also stressed the necessity of coordinating medical work between institutions and unions working in the medical field in order to advance this aspect in addition to protecting the southern citizen from counterfeit and smuggled medicines, narcotics, and common errors in dispensing treatment.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Omar Ali Qassem Al-Qahtani, Financial Officer, Dr. Khaled Jamal Muthana, Media Officer, Dr. Nasr Hassan Mohsen, Professional Relations Officer, Dr. Marwan Seif Al-Hadiani, Social Affairs Officer, Dr. Obaid Al-Naqib, Supervisory and Inspection Officer, and Dr. Mohsen Ahmed Mohsen, Public Relations and Affairs Officer. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Dr. Tamah Al-Deeb, Academic and Scientific Affairs Officer.
