Terrorist gunmen kidnapped, this evening, two foreign employees of the Doctors Without Borders organization, while they were passing through Wadi Hadramout, where they were on their way to the Yemeni city of Ma'rib.
A security source revealed that al-Qaeda terrorist elements kidnapped Kristan Gustloff, a German, and Sundar Fernandez, a Mexican, after their car was intercepted on the road linking the Al-Abr and Al-Khasha regions, west of Wadi Hadramout, to be taken to an unknown destination.
The source pointed out that this operation came after a similar kidnapping in less than a month, carried out by al-Qaeda terrorist elements, and targeted 5 illiterate employees between Lauder and Mudiyah districts in Abyan governorate.
Pointing out that it has clearly revealed how the areas under the control of legitimacy and the so-called National Army have become hotbeds of terrorist organizations and safe areas for the group's movements to carry out its terrorist acts and kidnap employees of international organizations and international relief organizations.
Doctors Without Borders is one of the most prominent international relief organizations in the governorates of the south and Yemen, providing health projects and various medical and humanitarian interventions.
