The Training and Rehabilitation Sector of the National Southern Media Authority in the capital, Aden, inaugurated this Sunday morning, at the Media Training Center, a training course for media professionals of the local leaders of the Transitional Council and the press and modern media sector in the capital Aden and the governorates of Lahj, Abyan and Al Dhale’, which is held on: "Skills for writing a press report" under the generous sponsorship of the President  Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council.

 Dr. Basem Mansour, head of the media department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, a member of the National Southern Media Commission, spoke at the opening of the session in which he welcomed all the attendees, conveying to them the greetings of President Commander Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Council, stressing that the session aims to raise efficiency  Enhancing the capabilities and skills of media professionals in the field of writing the press report, noting that this session is part of the Transitional Council’s work plan and its aspirations to develop and advance journalistic work in the service of the southern community.

 In turn, Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw, Head of the Training and Rehabilitation Sector at the National Southern Media Commission, a member of the Commission, said that this course will contribute to raising and strengthening the capabilities and skills of media professionals in the capital Aden and the governorates of Lahj and Ayin, and who is involved in writing press reports in the professional and creative manner required in the field of journalistic work.

 This training course, which will be held during the period 6-8 March 2022, with the participation of 25 male and female media professionals from the capital Aden and the governorates of Lahj, Abyan and Al Dhale’, aims to provide the trainees with new skills in writing press reports on a professional basis, as well as identifying common mistakes in writing press reports and how to avoid them, in addition to  To sense and publicize pressing issues in the present of the southern reality, as well as to emphasize the importance of southern identity and to highlight it through the media.
