The training and rehabilitation sector of the National Southern Media Authority concluded today, Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, a training course organized by the sector in “press report writing skills” for media professionals of the local leaders of the Southern Transitional Council, the press and modern media sector in the capital Aden and the southern governorates, Lahj, Abyan, and Al-Dhalea Under the generous patronage of President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council.
At the end of the session, Dr. Basem Mansour, Head of the Media Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, a member of the National Southern Media Commission, spoke about the importance of sustainable education for southern media professionals, which leads to professionalism in performance.
He explained what capabilities should be provided to the media, so that he can look forward in turn to how to deal with the issues of the people and the southern community, wishing the participants success in their practical tasks. The head of the media department indicated that in the coming days, the results of this course will be evaluated by assigning the trainees to write the newspaper reports that affect the suffering of the people in the south.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw, Head of the Training and Rehabilitation Sector, a member of the National Southern Media Authority, urged the trainees to make the most of the information and skills they received in the training course in their future work, hoping to see the impact of this course in the media field in a way that achieves the aspirations and goals of the Southern Transitional Council. for the media staff.
Participation certificates were distributed to the trainees in the course by Dr. Basem Mansour, Head of the Media Department, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw, Head of the Training and Rehabilitation Sector, wishing everyone success.
On the final day of the course, the participants received practical training in writing press reports professionally, while adhering to the rules of spelling, grammar, wording and the style required to be present in news and reports, as what was taken in the previous days was reviewed.
The training course targeted, over a period of three days, 30 male and female trainees from the media of local leaders and the press and modern media sector in the capital, Aden, and the governorates of Lahj, Abyan, and Al Dhale’.
