The Department of Studies and Research in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held today, Sunday, the second consultative meeting for the studies and research centers in the southern governorates.
Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council, opened the meeting with a speech in which he stressed the importance of the effective role of studies and research centers that provide papers and support required by the stage, stressing the need to strengthen the relationship between the department and centers and unify efforts between them.
In his turn, Dr. Muhammad Jaafar bin al-Sheikh Abu Bakr, Head of the Studies and Research Department, pointed out in his speech the need to simulate reality events by all sectors and centers, urging to benefit from studies and turn them into work programs, and provide solutions to address issues to achieve stability in society.
The meeting discussed the working mechanisms of the outcomes of the previous meeting with the heads of the centers, and the development of a joint working mechanism that includes their involvement in the implementation of the department’s activities for the second chapter of the 2022 plan, including studies on the phenomenon of displacement and its impact on the demographic structure of the people of the south.
The attendees affirmed their complete readiness to move forward to serve the southern homeland, noting the importance of the work of a southern union that includes all southern studies and research centers.
