Dr. Anis Luqman, Acting President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, received, on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the National Assembly, Mr. Vance Collibert, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa at Geneva Call.

 The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and partnership between the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council and Geneva Call International, and to consult on several topics in order to rehabilitate the Human Rights Committee of the National Assembly and its branches and the military and security points.

 Dr. Anis Luqman expressed his happiness with this meeting and cooperation with the Geneva Organization through joint programs that are agreed upon.

 For his part, Mr. Vance Collibert expressed his great happiness about his cooperation with the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, wishing for the continuation of cooperation between them and also referring to the stability of the capital, Aden.

 The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Qassem, Director of the Office of the President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Dr. Abdullah Basheeb, Head of the Human Rights Committee of the National Assembly, Muhammad Abdul Malik, Program Coordinator at Geneva Call, and Ahmed Nasser Ahmed, Communications and Administrative Officer in the organization.
