The Supreme Economic Committee of the Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting headed by Dr. Matash

 Today, Wednesday, the Supreme Economic Committee of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting, headed by Dr. Muhammad Ali Matash, Chairman of the Committee.
 At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Matash saluted the efforts of the people of Shabwa Governorate to register their permanent presence in the first ranks of the homeland and their refusal to return the Yemeni components in the governorate. He also congratulated all members of the Higher Economic Committee on the occasion of the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.
 The meeting discussed the report of the activities of the Supreme Economic Committee of the Council and its previous costs, and a number of special reports on the economic side, in addition to a general report on the institutions that were destroyed since 1994, and the possibility of reviving them.
 The meeting reviewed the reports submitted by the committees formed by the committee, the most important of which is a report on the development of the prices of some food commodities in the southern governorates, the report of the free zone and its current status, and possible treatments for it.
