Today, Wednesday, the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting, headed by Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.
The meeting discussed the report of the Political Department of the political scene during the past two weeks, which included the most prominent local, regional and international events and developments and the extent of their impact on the people of the south and their cause militarily, politically and economically, in addition to a number of recommendations on the issues contained in the report.
The meeting was briefed on the most prominent meetings and field visits to the departments of the General Secretariat during the last third of this month, stressing the importance of intensifying work related to the southern community and the need to strengthen activities that are in the interest of the south, its cause and its people.
The meeting touched on the latest political, economic, security and service developments in the southern national arena, as well as organizational and administrative issues related to the level of organizational and administrative work in the departments of the General Secretariat and the executive bodies of local leaders in the southern governorates.
The meeting had reviewed the achievement reports of the activities of the General Secretariat's departments during the past week, and had also reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
