The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held a meeting today headed by Professor Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Presidency stood for a moment of silence, to read the Fatiha for the soul of the martyr commander Major General Thabet Muthanna Jawas, commander of the Al-Anad axis, and his companions who died in a terrorist bombing that left last week.
After that, the commission reviewed the latest political developments at the regional and international levels through a report presented by the Council’s Decision-Making Support Center, which included the most prominent
developments in the regional and international political situation, foremost of which are the developments of the consultations to be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and the council’s participation in them, the developments of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and its effects on the matter internal.
During the meeting, the Presidency expressed its position in support of the demands of the Belharith tribes in Shabwa governorate, represented in reducing the prices of oil derivatives for the people of the concession areas, and providing them at reasonable prices as a genuine right for the people of the governorate. In the same context, the commission renewed its position in support of the popular movements in Hadhramaut, represented by the Hadrami donation, which aims to extract the rights of the people of the governorate, remove the Yemeni forces from the valley areas, enable the people of the governorate to manage their governorate, and hand over security tasks to the Hadrami Elite Forces.
Militarily, the Presidency stood before the latest field developments across the southern fronts, and the ongoing Houthi escalation on the Yafa, Al-Dhalea and Mukairas fronts, praising in the context the high fighting spirit enjoyed by our valiant Southern Armed Forces personnel in the fields of honor and heroism.
In its meeting, the authority touched on the developments of the economic crisis, the crazy rise in food prices, the government’s failure to assume its national responsibilities, revive the economic situation, stop the currency’s collapse and provide services to citizens in accordance with the requirements of the Riyadh Agreement, stressing the need for the equal government to assume its responsibilities in this aspect and work to put an end to the suffering Citizens with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Presidency discussed a number of issues on its agenda and took the necessary measures regarding them.
