 The National Southern Media Authority continued its consultative meetings with southern journalists and media professionals, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, on the way to preparing for the first conference for southern journalists and media professionals.
 
 During the meeting, Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice President of the National Southern Media Authority, spoke at the outset with a welcoming speech for the attendees, conveying to them the greetings of President Commander Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, and his congratulations to them on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.
 In his speech, Al-Yafei pointed out the importance of holding this meeting, which is the second, that brings together a group of southern journalists, media professionals and academics, who have had a contribution to the media scene in the past and present, stressing that this meeting and others, which the National Authority seeks to organize in all other  The governorates of the south, it enhances the role and cohesion of southern media professionals, and brings together the various visions that serve the cause of the people of the south.
 In his speech, the Vice-President of the Commission stressed the importance of the participation of southern journalists and media professionals, in such meetings, to crystallize a work vision that contributes to the good preparation for the convening of the first conference for southern journalists and media professionals, stressing the need to open up to all, and to provide the appropriate environment for studying ideas and visions that would contribute to  Good preparation and preparation for holding the conference.
 Al-Yafei noted that the National Southern Media Authority will spare no effort to support, defend and assist southern journalists and media professionals, enable them to unleash their creativity, and develop their capabilities in line with the requirements of contemporary media work.
 During the meeting, many ideas and perceptions were presented by the participants, all of which stressed the importance of uniting the ranks of southern media professionals, protecting their rights and activating the role of their media institutions, in addition to intensifying efforts aimed at accelerating the convening of the conference and its success.
