President Al-Zubaidi: We are not looking for authority, and we have come to extract the right of the people of the south to self-determination

President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, affirmed that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council is keen to be present in the political battle to serve the cause of the people of the south and achieve their aspirations to restore their state.
 The Leader added, during a Ramadan meeting with the southern leaders participating in the Riyadh consultations, this evening at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh: "We were clear with everyone that we are not looking for an authority, and we found it to extract the right of the people of the south and to achieve their aspirations to restore their independent state."
 President Al-Zubaidi addressed the attendees, saying, "We have a great responsibility towards our people and their cause and victory for their rights and aspirations, and you all have to bear your responsibilities with honesty and sincerity, and political action is a collective action, and today we have to be at the level of the national responsibility that we have shouldered."
 The Leader pointed out that the participation of the Transitional Council in the Riyadh consultations was positive and fruitful and strengthened the presence of the cause of the people of the south in the corridors of regional and international decision-making.
 President Al-Zubaidi added, "Our participation in the Riyadh consultations was positive and represented a new turning point in our southern political struggle, through which we were able to impose the cause of our people and the international negotiations by placing a special framework for it on the table of a comprehensive solution."
 President Al-Zubaidi continued by saying: "We have to look at what we have achieved so far realistically and without bidding. After we were completely absent, today we became part of the decision-making circle and we worked with all our might to impose political and economic reforms to save our people who were economically and socially exhausted by corruption and mismanagement."  .
 In his speech to the attendees, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his thanks and gratitude to the brothers in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for the tremendous efforts they have made and are still making to end the conflict and bring peace to our country, praising the great success achieved by the consultations.  Riyadh.
 At the conclusion of his speech, the leader called on the leaders of the Southern Transitional Council to return to the capital, Aden, to work in all directions, stressing the need to exploit opportunities to build state institutions and advance the living reality of our people in the south.
