The Emirates Red Crescent Authority continued to distribute hundreds of tons of Ramadan meer materials in a number of Yemeni governorates.

 About 7 million citizens benefit from the Ramadan humanitarian relief initiative, in the governorates of Shabwa, Hadramawt, Taiz, Hodeidah and Socotra Island.

   In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority.

  The initiative is part of the humanitarian and development efforts undertaken by the UAE to improve life and alleviate suffering on the Yemeni arena, meet the needs of the brothers in Yemen during the blessed month of Ramadan, and enhance areas of food security, in light of the current conditions in Yemen.
