Yesterday, Wednesday, the Vice President and members of the Southern External Dialogue team met a number of southern sultans, princes and sheikhs, residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the deputy head of the dialogue team, Professor Ahmed Omar bin Farid, spoke about the role of the sultans and sheikhdoms in southern history, as they are an important part of the social fabric and important references in their tribes and regions. All disputes and the establishment of dialogue and communication as an alternative approach to any armed conflicts and a solution to any internal differences.
For their part, sultans, sheikhs and princes of the south spoke about the importance of solidarity, cohesion, close ranks, and preparation for a future that preserves their security and freedom for generations, and a homeland where equality, development and awareness prevail without looking to the past except as a way of taking lessons and benefiting, emphasizing their participation in the southern dialogue, and wishing it success.
The meeting was attended by Sultan Saleh bin Nasser Al-Fadhli, Sultan Iskandar bin Hammoud Al Harhara, Prince Hassan Al-Abdali, Prince Haider bin Shaafal, Sheikh Faisal bin Qasim Al-Muflihi, Prince Saleh bin Farid Al-Awlaki, Prince Fayez bin Ali Al-Wahidi, Prince Salem Muhammad Al-Awlaki and Sultan Muhammad bin Nasser Aidarous Al-Kazmi Al-Awlaki, and Prince Muhammad bin Ali Al-Wahidi.
