The National Southern Media Authority holds a scientific symposium on "The Brotherhood's Media Dealing with Terror Crimes in the South"

 On Monday, in the capital, Aden, the National Southern Media Authority held a scientific symposium entitled "The Brotherhood's Media Dealing with Terror Crimes in the South", in the presence of Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.
 Mr. Ali Al Kathiri, a member of the Presidency of the Council, President of the National Southern Media Authority, spoke at the symposium, which was also attended by the members of the Presidency of the Council, Mr. Lotfi Shatara, Vice-President of the National Assembly, Dr. Suhair Ali Ahmed, and Engineer Nizar Haitham, with a speech conveying at the outset to the attendees the greetings of the President  Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council.
 In his speech, Al Kathiri indicated that this symposium focuses on studying the role of the Brotherhood in supporting terrorist organizations to destabilize security, stability and social peace in the south, since 1990, and ways to confront extremist ideology and the production factories of terrorist groups.
 During his speech, Al Kathiri stressed that the south was and still is an environment that expels extremist ideology and intruder into our society, wishing at the conclusion of his speech that the symposium would produce recommendations that evaluate the role and performance of the media in dealing with terrorism and its facts and present future visions to develop the performance of the media in addressing terrorism issues.
 During the symposium, three scientific working papers were presented, initiated by researcher Saleh Al-Dawil Al-Awlaki with an intervention entitled "The Phenomenon of Terrorism in the South: Origin, Source, and Intellectual, Political, Social and Media Tribute", in which he spoke about the role of the Muslim Brotherhood in planting terrorist ideology among its followers through its media and educational system against the south  and his case.
 During the symposium, she presented a paper by the researcher in American national security affairs, Arina Zuckerman, through a video video, entitled "The war on the south is the essence of the relationship between the Brotherhood and terrorist organizations", in which she explained how this relationship is reflected in the Brotherhood's media discourse and its role in making political conflicts.  and military in the Arab world.
 The researcher Abdel-Khaleq Al-Houd presented a paper entitled "The identification of the Brotherhood's media with the discourse of terrorist organizations", in which he reviewed the role of the Brotherhood in the systematic incitement of terrorist operations and the group's absorption of al-Qaeda and ISIS elements to carry out terrorist operations in the south.
 The attendees of the symposium gave many interventions and discussions that affected the symposium, and came up with many recommendations and proposals that would control and rationalize the discourse and media message related to terrorism issues.
 The symposium, which began with verses from the Holy Quran, the southern national anthem and a minute's silence for the souls of the southern martyrs, witnessed the presentation of a video that addressed the role of the Yemeni and Arab Brotherhood media in highlighting the discourse of violence and extremism through figures belonging to terrorist groups against the people of the south and the banner bearer of their cause the Transitional Council  and an attempt to destabilize security, stability and social peace in the southern governorates.
