On Tuesday, President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, chaired a meeting of the leaders of the security belts in the capital, Aden, and the governorates of Abyan and Lahj.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, the governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, member of the Presidency and Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed explanation of the security situation, each within its geographical scope, from the leaders of the belts. Security plans are being implemented to maintain security, stability and public tranquility.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts made by the security services in their various formations, foremost of which are the security belts, to establish security, stave off the threat of terrorism, and provide stability in the capital, Aden, and other southern governorates.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of raising security vigilance and strengthening joint coordination between the security services, with all available efforts to impose the prestige of the state and confront all that threatens the security and stability of the southern homeland.
The Commander-in-Chief directed the leaders of the security belts to focus on the training aspects, and to take advantage of all available technical means, to raise the efficiency of individuals and enhance their combat capabilities, in order to ensure the implementation of security tasks with skill and ability.
