The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council stressed the importance of expediting the formation of the joint negotiating delegation in accordance with the outcomes of the Riyadh Agreement, stressing its rejection of the continued exclusive management of the negotiation file, including the ongoing negotiations to extend the armistice and open roads that are conducted unilaterally.
 In its meeting held today, Saturday, headed by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Speaker of the National Assembly, the Presidency stressed the importance of the outcomes of the Riyadh Agreement, sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the consultations sponsored by the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, as basic references for the process.  Consensual politics, noting that any talk of references to other agreements in which the Council did not participate, is not binding on the Council and is not reliable.
 In a separate context, the Presidency affirmed its firm position in support of efforts to end the war and establish peace, and its support for the efforts to extend the truce sponsored by the United Nations, stressing the importance that its extension be in accordance with binding controls for all parties.
 In its meeting, the authority stood in front of the problem of the continuing lack of energy supplies in the capital, Aden and other southern governorates, ways and mechanisms of enhancing the food stock of wheat, and the government's efforts to confront any crisis that might emerge in this aspect.
 The authority called on the government to control the local food stockpile, establish a mechanism to control the sales and export process to Houthi militia-controlled areas, and intensify communication with producing countries and coordination with major importers to ensure the provision of the necessary quantities of wheat and oils.
 In its meeting, the authority touched on the rest of the issues on its agenda, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
